Table Manners

A farce play. Norman, an improbable ladies’ man, tells his career-driven wife, Ruth, he’s off on a business trip. In reality, he’s orchestrated a secret weekend getaway with his sister-in-law, Annie. Their clandestine plans unravel, however, with the unexpected arrival of Annie’s brother, Reg, and his prim wife, Sarah. Sarah quickly uncovers the “dirty weekend” and calls Ruth, hoping to put an end to Norman’s philandering. Adding to the chaos is the untimely appearance of Annie’s well-meaning, if slow-witted, suitor, Tom.
